Rehabilitation might be defined by some as restoring a condition to a more healthful or useful state. Webster defines technology as a scientific method of achieving a practical purpose. When the two are combined, they make it possible for people with disabilities to achieve things that were once never thought possible.

S.A.W., Inc. Engineers are experienced in using Rehabilitation Technology to assist a person in overcoming difficulties caused by their disabilities. They also assist companies in re-engineering jobs and work stations to meet their employees' needs. This may mean adapting a tool, machine, workstation, or job duty to enhance their ability to meet production demands. It could also involve providing an environmental control, safety device, or computer access solution to help them become more independent at home.

The Engineering Department of S.A.W., Inc. is comprised of Five Methods Engineers and a Chief Methods Engineer with combined Rehabilitation Technology experience of over 50 years. They annually complete hundreds of projects that assist children and adults in all aspects of their lives.
