Community Employment

Employers have a need for labor and S.A.W., Inc.'s Community Employment services are the way to fulfill that need. S.A.W., Inc. provides a dependable, hard-working, reliable and stable work force that Ohio employers seek.

S.A.W. has a labor pool of approximately 2,500 employees. This extensive labor pool allows workers and employers needs to be matched to create a win-win work situation for both the employer and the S.A.W. worker. Cleveland Companies engage our services to perform work at their place of business. Some of the services provided are factory assembly and packaging, grounds maintenance, grass cutting services, landscaping, custodial maintenance, food preparation, contract office cleaning, and other related service/utility work.

We offer the employer from one to several people to work in their facility depending on the employer's need. When the employer contracts our services

• S.A.W., Inc. retains the workers on their payroll and pays all payroll taxes, workers compensation and issues workers their paychecks;
  
  
• a supervisor from the County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities assists in the training of our workers at no cost to the employer. This makes it possible for you to devote time to other matters;
  
  
• we provide training for your company's employees so that they are ready to take over the supervision of the S.A.W., Inc. workers once their performance meets your standards;
  
  
• we maintain open lines of communication with you so that if additional training is required for the S.A.W., Inc. employee(s), we are there to perform it; and
  
  
• the employer gets a dependable workforce that has a real desire to work, which helps to reduce turnover.
